Healthy Eating

Food gives us energy and nutrients the body needs to maintain health, to grow and develop, to work and play, and to think and learn.  It affects our mood, internal workings, mental clarity, and even our skin.
We need to think of food as nourishment rather than entertainment.  Aim for a diet that is low in salt, saturated fat, and unprocessed food, and high in minerals, proteins, and vitamins.
Eating healthy also fights disease.  For example, fruits and vegetables lower blood pressure and may lower the risk of certain cancers.
                
                 Question:  How do I get started on healthy eating?
                 Answer:  Start by adding more fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and fish.

  2. You are what you eat. No! Your not a pickle, nor are you an egg. But, When you eat fruits, vegetables, and bran you feel better. We need to eat better for overall health. It will make us feel better.

  4. Food makes me crazy, happy and sad all at the same time, you right it do have a great effect on people I feel hungry for some grapes right now, atleast it is healthy
